Air Crash Investigation: Special Report (2018)

Episode Overview

Some of the most catastrophic aviation disasters stem from basic miscommunications, and a small oversight in the cockpit led to a tragedy at Quincy Airport in Illinois. Similarly, a slight error, an unconventional landing approach, and thick smoke culminated in a tragic mishap that claimed the lives of all passengers on Garuda Indonesia Flight 152. Yet, no misunderstanding has resulted in a more horrific outcome than the events on the island of Tenerife, marking the worst aviation disaster in history.
