Episode Overview

After dropping out of middle school because he had trouble with reading and writing, Taketo fell into a life of delinquency. Now at 20, he starts attending night school but continues to struggle with his reading skills even after a year. His friend Miura suggests he sell marijuana, tempting Taketo to think about leaving school for good. However, a new science teacher, Fujitake, recognizes Taketo's interest in learning and invites him to participate in an experiment, offering a glimmer of hope amid his challenges.
